Old gold color, thick and regular tears.
The nose opens with notes of ripe apples and honey before evolving towards scents of cinnamon, brown sugar and toasted wood in a deliciously pastry universe enriched with notes of brioche and baba.
On the palate, the attack is frank with a beautiful structure carried by the toasted wood. Very rich, the palate also offers a pastry balance between the sweet aromas of baked apple, spices and dried fruits (almonds, grapes). A note of candied orange completes the gourmet aromatic palette of this calvados.
The finish is very gentle, evoking apple pie, strudel and brown sugar which recalls the finesse of Foursquare rums.
